Most social media steals your time. OMBO gives it back — by turning your ambitions into a journey worth sharing.

Why OMBO

A platform designed for doing, not scrolling.

Every post is anchored to a goal. No ads, no manipulative algorithms — just people on their journey.

Productive
Every post is tied to a real goal. Progress and completion are celebrated — not follower counts.
Healthy
No ads. No surveillance. No engagement traps. Your data stays yours.
Fun
Celebrate small and big wins. Turn the grind into a story worth sharing.

The feed

Goals, not highlights.

Real people in real pursuit of real things.

Made it to base camp. The altitude is no joke but the view makes every step worth it.

Your goals deserve an audience.

Join thousands of people sharing the journey — not just the destination.

How it works

Goal-first social. Simple as that.

OMBO restructures what social media is for. Every interaction flows from a goal — creating one, sharing progress, or celebrating someone else's win.

Step 01
Create a goal
Set a title, a deadline, and a description. Goals can be anything — fitness, travel, learning, creative projects. No categories required.
Step 02
Post updates
Share milestones, photos, and reflections as you make progress. Every post links back to your goal so followers can track the full journey.
Step 03
Build your community
Follow people pursuing goals that inspire you. Comment, like, and lift completed goals. Real encouragement drives real results.
Step 04
Complete and celebrate
When you finish, mark it done. Your community gets notified. Completed goals get a special "lift" — the highest form of appreciation on OMBO.

Goal states

Every post has context.

Unlike other platforms, every OMBO post carries its goal state. Viewers instantly know where someone is in their journey — just started, grinding through the middle, or celebrating a finish.

About

We built the social platform
we actually wanted to use.

Social media had a simple promise: connect people. Somewhere along the way that became: capture attention, sell ads, and make you feel bad about yourself. OMBO is our attempt to go back to basics — and do it better.

The idea started with a frustration. We kept using Instagram and Twitter to share things we were working on — runs, projects, trips — but the platforms weren't built for it. Posts disappeared. Progress got lost. The algorithm buried substance under spectacle.

So we built something purpose-made for the pursuit of goals. Not a productivity app. Not another to-do list. A social platform where the thing you share is what you're working toward.

What we believe

Principles we build by.

Progress over perfection
The messy middle of a goal is as worth sharing as the finish line. We celebrate the attempt, not just the achievement.
Your attention is yours
No algorithmic feeds designed to maximize time-on-app. No ads. No dark patterns. OMBO should feel like time well spent.
Community over clout
Follower counts are de-emphasized. What matters is whether the people following you are actually showing up for you.
Radical transparency
We'll always be clear about how OMBO makes money, how your data is used, and what decisions we're making and why.

The team

People who actually use it.

Everyone on the OMBO team has an active goal on the platform. We eat our own cooking.

The business model

OMBO is free to use. We believe the platform should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income. We sustain ourselves through optional OMBO Pro subscriptions — which unlock advanced goal analytics, custom goal templates, and priority support. No ads. Ever.

We also run OMBO for Teams — a version of the platform for companies who want to help employees pursue personal goals and build a culture of growth. That's how we keep the consumer product free.

Where we're headed

We're a small team with a clear vision: build the place people go to become the person they want to be. That means deepening goal tools, building better ways to find community around specific pursuits, and eventually offering ways for experts and coaches to connect directly with people working on goals in their domain.

We're not trying to be the biggest social platform. We're trying to be the most useful one.

Come build something with us.

Join OMBO and make your next goal a public one.

Your goals deserve an audience.
